Orlando Magic Information:
The Orlando Magic compete in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association. The team was founded in 1989, and has been playing in the same city ever since. Although the Magic are not thought of as one of the best franchises of all time, as they begin to establish themselves more and more this is sure to change.
The Magic play their home games at Amway Arena. They began playing in this venue in 1989; the first year that they competed in the NBA. Since that time, the Magic have won hundreds of games in this arena. It is modern both inside and out, and Magic fans really make it a tough atmosphere for opposing players on a regular basis.
Although the Magic have never won an NBA championship, they have had plenty of success. They won their conference in 1995 and division titles in 1995 and 1996. They may be a bit on the downslide as of right now, but this is sure to change very soon.
Many great players have suited up for the Magic. Some of the most notable names include Grant Hill, Steve Francis, Tracy McGrady, Shaquille O'Neal and many more.
The Orlando Magic are working hard to get back to their winning ways of the mid 90's. It is safe to say that fans are hoping for the same thing!
