Utah Jazz Information:
The Utah Jazz compete in the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association. The organization was founded in 1974 and competed in the city of New Orleans until 1979. At that point, the Jazz moved to Utah and have been playing their ever since. Although they are not one of the oldest franchises in the league, the Jazz have achieved a lot of success over the years.
The Jazz play their home games at EnergySolutions Arena located in Salt Lake City. When this venue opened in 1991 it was one of the best in the entire league. Although the arena is no longer the newest in the NBA, it still has quite a bit to offer. For this reason, the Jazz never have a hard time drawing a large crowd for every home game.
Even though the Jazz have never won an NBA championship, they are no stranger to winning. They won their conference in 1997 and 1998 as well as their division in 1984, 1989, 1992, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2007. As you can see, the Jazz have had plenty of success over the long term.
Many great players have competed for the Jazz. Some of the best include John Stockton, Pete Maravich, Karl Malone, Mark Eaton, Jeff Hornacek, and many more.
All in all, the Utah Jazz are one of the most successful franchises in NBA history. They have been competing at a high level for many years, and this is sure to hold true for more to come.
